Bio:
I am a board certified and fellowship-trained Geriatrician and Family Physician and currently hold appointment of Associate Professor of Clinical Family Medicine at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. I attended medical school in India and subsequently obtained post-graduate training in both Internal Medicine and Family Medicine in the United Kingdom. I did two-year fellowship training in Geriatric Medicine at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. I am a Fellow of the American Geriatrics Society and member of the Royal College of General practitioners of Great Britain and worked for a number of years in the British health service. Besides providing primary patient care in the Cincinnati area since 1994, I specialize in Geriatric evaluations, memory and dementia assessments, complex disease management and have academic interest in 'Falls and Balance disorders' in older adults investigating various clinical issues in the older population. I am an alumnus of the Harvard University School of Public Health with a master's degree in ‘Clinical Effectiveness’. I am faculty and associate director of the Reynolds-UC Health Alliance Physician training center for Geriatrics. I am also medical director of two nursing homes and a hospice in the Cincinnati area. I have hospital priviliges at the Christ Hospital and University Hospital.

I’m a family physician working full-time with University Family Physicians at University Pointe in West Chester. I graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland’s Medical School (Canada) in 1991 and did my family medicine residency there. I was in private practice in Portsmouth, Ohio for nine years before moving here with my wife Tanuja and our two kids, Shivank and Sachika. I am board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and have competed a Fellowship in Academic Medicine.
My practice is office-based with some nursing home work at Heritagespring in West Chester. I have hopsital privileges at The Christ Hospital.
I am on the faculty of the University of Cincinnati's College of Medicine as an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine. I am actively involved with the University of Cincinnait/Christ Hospital Family Medicine residency.
As a family physician I treat all ages, from infants to the elderly. I’m interested in preventative care and am able to treat a wide range of general family medicine, like high blood pressure, diabetes, asthma, emphysema, depression.
I am interested in public speaking and can arrange informational sessions on a variety of topics, like cancer prevention, nutrition, obesity, quitting smoking etc.
